Starting Friday night, there will be a plethora of mixed martial arts action for your viewing pleasure.
Bellator MMA and the World Series of Fighting go head-to-head on Spike TV and NBC Sports Network first, while the UFC takes the stage Saturday during the day.
Here’s a look at three fights – one from each card – that you simply should not miss this weekend:
Will Brooks vs. Dave Jansen for lightweight title/Bellator 136
Plain and simply put, Will Brooks is turning himself into “can’t-miss-TV” after two straight wins over Michael Chandler.
Brooks first scored a split decision over Chandler, a former champion in the 155-pound division, last May before recording a fourth round TKO via strikes in November. He hasn’t lost since 2013 to Saad Awad, which he avenged with a decision win a few months later.
Jansen gets his crack at knocking him off that pedestal, and he brings with him a solid resume that includes a Bellator tournament title.
Bellator 136 airs live on Spike TV with the main card starting at 9 p.m. ET.
